A patient presents a valid written prescription for a Schedule II controlled substance. Under federal law, how many refills may the prescriber authorize?

How it works

What happens when you miss a question

Most question banks show a red X and move on. Here a wrong answer starts a short loop that ends with you proving the rule on a question you haven't seen. Tap through it.

Analytics that don't flatter you

Plenty of apps show a big readiness score. We show what it would hide: how you do without help, the first time, across the areas your exam actually tests.
  • Unaided accuracy on first-seen questions, with the count behind it
  • Coverage of your exam's content outline, area by area
  • Retention checks: rules re-tested a week or more later
  • Streaks and study time kept separate from mastery

No pass probability, ever. Labels like “Developing” and “Needs more evidence” tell you where to work instead.

AI tutor

A tutor that already knows your mistake

It sees the question, the choice you made, and the cited rule before you type a word, so answers take two or three sentences, not a lecture. Try the buttons.
  • Answers only from reviewed lessons and regulations
  • Every answer shows its citations and a report button
  • Says so when the material doesn't cover your question
  • Switched off during mock exams

Tutor

You picked the rule for Schedules III and IV, which allows up to 5 refills within 6 months. Schedule II is stricter: it can't be refilled at all, so every fill needs a new prescription.

Quick check: if a refill isn't allowed, how can a prescriber give a patient a 3-month supply of a Schedule II drug?

When the law changes, your study set does too

Every rule carries its citation and a last-reviewed date. When a source changes, the questions and cards built on it come down until they're fixed, so you never study a rule that no longer applies.

FAQ

Questions

Will it tell me my chance of passing?

No. A percentage like that would be a guess. Instead you see what you've proven on your own: unaided accuracy with the number of questions behind it, how much of your exam's outline you've covered, and what you still remember a week later.

Which states do you cover?

Federal law plus Pennsylvania first. Every state is set up in our system, and new states open as their content is reviewed. The state directory shows each state's status.

Is this the real MPJE?

No. All questions are original and written from the regulations. We never use or reconstruct real exam items.

How does the AI tutor work?

It answers only from our reviewed lessons and sources, and shows the citations under each answer. The paid package includes a stated tutor allowance.

Does it auto-renew?

No. The package is a one-time purchase with 6 months of access.

What if a law changes?

Every item has a last-reviewed date. When a rule changes, affected questions are pulled for review and the fix appears in the public corrections log.

Can I study on my phone?

Yes. The site is designed for phones first, with sessions as short as 5 minutes. iPhone and Android apps, with offline flashcards, are planned.
